INGREDIENT LOG
Glycerin and dimethicone are both highly effective skincare ingredients, each playing a distinct role in hydration, skin protection and sensorial performance. While both help support the skin barrier, they work in different ways to achieve their benefits.
Phytic Acid is a type of AHA derived from plants that performs as a chemical exfoliant, skin brightener and antioxidant. It's been shown to help even out the complexion giving the skin a brighter, more radiant appearance.
Lipase is an enzyme utilized in skin care to help with oil control, unclogging pores, and reducing the appearance of textured skin.
Protease is a diverse group of enzymes that are used in skincare to gently exfoliate, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Our Multi-Acid Complex includes a blend of glycolic, phytic, malic, mandelic and lactic acids that help boost surface renewal and enhance skin radiance.
Rice Bran Oil is a natural oil, rich in fatty acids, known for its ability to nourish, cleanse, visually brighten the complexion, and help diminish the appearance of fine lines.
Lipase and protease enzymes aid in dead skin cell exfoliation, reduction of oils, unclogging pores, and improving overall skin texture.
Vitamin E is a powerful natural antioxidant that helps protect the product formulation and to protect skin from the adverse effects of free radicals.
Our High Oleic Oil Blend is a blend of rice bran oil, cica oil and sunflower oil that provides occlusive barrier protection to help prevent moisture loss.
Vitamin F is a soothing essential fatty acid blend that supports the skin barrier to help calm visible skin irritation and redness.
Zinc PCA is a zinc salt combined with L-PCA, a natural moisturizing factor (NMF), known to help normalize sebum production as well as delivering beneficial hydration.
Succinic acid is a type of gentle facial acid that helps visually brighten the skin. It also has soothing and antioxidant benefits. Succinic acid has been compared in it's function to hyaluronic acid.
Vitamin C and glycolic acid are both effective skin brighteners, but they work differently. Glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), exfoliates the skin, removing dead cells and revealing a brighter complexion. Vitamin C, with its strong antioxidant properties helps neutralize free radicals and stimulate collagen production, thus leading to a more even skin tone.
Exfoliating is key to boosting your skin’s natural cell renewal, leaving you with a smoother, brighter complexion. By clearing away dead skin cells, it helps unclog pores, prevents dirt and oil buildup, and makes your other skincare products work even better. But with popular exfoliants like glycolic acid and urea on the market, how do you know which one is right for you?
While both glycerin and hyaluronic acid are excellent humectants with diverse applications, glycerin's smaller molecular size enables it to reach a bit further into the stratum corneum via aquaporins. This, combined with its molecular structure, allows glycerin to remain within the skin for a longer duration compared to water, which evaporates more readily.
